K Parvathama, a resident of 4th B Cross of Michael Palya, said that she used to wait on the footpath for her grandson who alights from his school bus at the same location during weekdays. “I have seen two to three youths getting injured due to the slanting tree branch. I have also complained to the BBMP Forest Department but this problem is yet to be fixed,’’ said Parvathamma.
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) forest officials visited the CSI Hospital and prepared a report on trees that were chopped without permission. The mahazar report by the BBMP Divisional Forest Officer (East) has stated 12 trees were cut without permission.
