parking their vehicles as the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (
BBMP) has proposed to construct a multi-level car parking facility in about a year’s time. The building will come up where the corporation-owned
flower market is located.
While the project has been talked about for over a decade, the civic body on Wednesday floated tenders for the construction of the building, estimated to cost about Rs 20 crore. In the six-floor building, officials plan to dedicate three floors only to parking. The remaining three floors will be given to the vendors on a lease.
