Police have arrested a 31-year-old man who they say confessed to fatally shooting a 41-year-old man Sunday in West Dallas. Officers were called about 9:30 a.m. to the 1800 block of Bayside Street, near Hampton Road and the Trinity River, where they found Kenya Chalmers wounded. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
