Drivers who use the Crown Street overpass in Saint John may face some detours Friday.
The southbound exit ramp to Haymarket Square will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Drivers will be detoured via Crown Street, the Courtenay Bay Causeway, Bayside Drive, Thorne Avenue and City Road.

Water main flushing continues
MARION - Aqua Ohio’s Marion Division will conduct water main flushing in the Marion County service area between 8 a.m. and midnight Monday through Friday. Customers may notice a drop in water pressure or temporary water discoloration.
If possible, customers should refrain from doing laundry to avoid potential staining while the flushing is taking place near their home. If tap water is discolored, allow it to run until clear. Next week s flushing schedule is as follows:
Monday: South High Street, East Church Street, Mount Vernon Avenue, South Vine Street, Ellis Place, Franklin Street, Lafayette Street, Willow Street, Gurley Avenue, Belmont Street, Powhatten Street, East Washington Avenue, Eisenhower Avenue, Walnut Street, Presidential Avenue, South Greenwood Street, Cummins Avenue, Durfee Drive, Sargent Street, Elm Street, Brightwood Drive, Then between East Center Street and Mount Vernon
Dock and Dine Options Aplenty in Newport Harbor
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Some harborside restaurants are offering innovative dining options to stay afloat during the pandemic, and the approach appears to be working.
In Newport Beach, restaurants with dock space navigated the pandemic closures in part by offering dockside options. Now, they are seeing a payoff when it comes to accommodating customers arriving by way of Newport’s waterways.
While docking at local watering holes has long been a tradition in Newport Harbor, restaurateurs said they are planning to continue, and even expand, their dockside offerings.
This includes pre-ordering meals online for pickup at the dock, complimentary dock space for those who wish to travel by boat and dine indoors or on patios, or who want to park and stay in the comfort of their boat while servers deliver drinks and food. Think of dock-and-dine as a twist on the old drive-in diner concept.

On Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, during a San Francisco Board of Supervisors Land Use Committee hearing, San Franciscans learned for the first time that their neighbors on Treasure Island are sick from contamination by radiation, chemicals, lead, asbestos and black mold that the Navy left behind after decommissioning the base.
