Environment Canada is cautioning North Bay and area residents of poor road conditions this weekend due to accumulating snow.
A special weather statement has been issued for North Bay, Powassan, Mattawa, West Nipissing and French River, as well as Bayfield Inlet, Dunchurch, South River and Burk’s Falls.

Between 10 and 25 centimetres of snow is expected this weekend. Environment Canada says snow will begin Friday overnight and last into Sunday.
The heaviest snow is expected Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
