A Chattogram court today sentenced four people to death for killing a woman during robbery in Chattogram s Bayezid Bostami area in 2016. Chattogram Fourth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Shariful Alam handed down the verdict after the court found them guilty beyond doubt crossing all the evidence and witnesses, said Additional Public Prosecutor Md Noman Chowdhury.
The death row convicts are Md Yasin, Md Mansur, Abu Tayeb and Md Ishaq. Among them Yasin is behind bars while the rest are absconding after they secured bail from High Court, said Noman.
