Fire. A warehouse here not fit for people to occupy. Oakland fire officials told them so it was day after thanksgiving and a patch work o extension cords that provided power that one described as an. That same tenant provided us with cell phone video just after 2 00 when it was fully engulfed. The appgarr warehouse caught fire and there were eight People Living in the redtagged structure at the time and they only had one entrance in and out that required them to sneak through a hole in a fence and lift a heavy garage door, every and window was nailed shut with garbage in front of and the two fire extinguishers they did find did not from an upstairs loft and one tenant escaped from the loft but saidt pregnant still trapped, too scared to move upstairs in the loft. So even though he was blinded by smoke, another tenant went in after her, feeling his way through the smoke. Battalion chief on the scene told me there was another fire here in 2014. And at least one person had to be rescued.
