That a tipster alerted police. Authorities ultimately arrested 36 year old payam afsari at his home. Hes now facing charges of assault with a Deadly Weapon and child abuse. Police believe this was a random attack. We cant speak to the state of the mind of the suspect or what may have led him to do that. We just know it was a dangerous situation and the child and his guardian left quickly after it happened. Investigators want to speak to them and hope maybe the public can help track them down. On sutro tower this morning with a live look outside looking across the region. The only area right now reporting any sort of cloud cover is Half Moon Bay. Everybody else is seeing that sunshine from the start this morning. Temperatures right now though, a bit of a mixed bag. Some of our coolest valleys in the north bay and in the east bay. We are starting out in the 40s, but you look at brentwood, it is mild at 61 degrees. The jacket, youll need it for the next two hours or so, and then you can get rid of it as we warm up pretty quickly today, looking along the coast first we have that sunshine appearing pretty fast after that morning. Cloud cover temperatures in the low 60s for daytime highs around the bay shoreline. It will feel warm today. We have sunny skies this morning getting us into the upper 60s by 11 a. M. Homeless encampment in the north bay is sparring with and suing a local tire shop that operates on the other side. And tonight youre going to hear from that tire shop only on abc seven. Good evening. This particular encampment backs up against a small creek in the town of san rafael, and has been a source of contention in town for years, except this time a member in the homeless encampment is threatening to take things to court over a new noisy tactic. Abc seven News Reporter tim johns went to hear from both sides of the fence, including those at the tire shop, in an interview. Youll hear only on seven. For Bruce Gaylord the past weekend was anything but ideal. The first night i got to bed at 1 a. M. The second night, i got no sleep during the night and the third night, sunday night, i had no no way to get any sleep. Afternoon. This morning, the only place that is reporting fog right now is Half Moon Bay. Everybody else is seeing clear skies out there. And our exploratorium camera is confirming that this morning we are cloud free over the city. Temperatures right now in our coolest spots were in the 40s to begin in sonoma, napa at 48, low to mid 50s. Currently around the bay shoreline. So if youre out over the next 2 to 3 hours, the light jacket is needed. But those temperatures warm fast today. So looking at the coast we have a little bit of cloud cover right now. Giving way to sunshine. Temperatures are mild in the low 60s today, but around the bay shoreline its going to be a mild morning leading to a warm afternoon. You see those temperatures rise pretty quickly throughout the next couple of hours. By the afternoon were into the mid 70s for daytime highs under full sunshine, even warmer than that.
