One neighbor said she reported the cars to 311 last year, but the city has not taken action. Two weeks ago one fed up neighbor tagged councilman noel gallos family and bad words on the cars. I dont take it personal and understand the frustration, but theres only so much i can do and we can do. Reporter councilman gallo said his staff received the complaint from the neighbors two weeks ago and immediately flagged the Transportation Department which handles these vehicles, but he says many citycontracted tow yards are full and the department is overwhelmed by the amount of abandoned and stolen cars.
