The city has shared details on the wage and benefits increases included in its new collective agreement with the North Bay firefighters union.
The collective agreement with the North Bay Professional Firefighters Association, which council approved following an in-camera, or closed-door, session Feb. 9, covers a period between Jan. 1, 2021, and Dec. 31, 2025.

The agreement has not been signed. However, details provided by city communications officer Gord Young show association members will receive a wage increase of 1.5 per cent for each year of the contract.
