Police have been holding briefings through this afternoon. This is the latest from them about the injuries their staff has suffered. We know that a minimum of 20 of our officers have been injured during the course of the lawlessness that took place. We expect that that number might be a little bit higher. Weve had reports that our officers sustaining minor injuries did not want to go off the line and seek medical treatment. Brad well, there is also a little bit of a sense of lawlessness in town. Ordinance with mandatory bands. This would affect more than 300 30,000 customers who are in hayward, fremont and union city. We understand that if it passes it would go one step beyond the current 20 voluntary water cutbacks. People would be facing tight restrictions on outdoor water use. The Water District says the situation is serious. The state Water Project which is administered by the department of Water Resources has informed us we will receive 0 of our yearly allocation this year. So its 40 of our water right off the top that will not be available to us. Heres what would happen if the ordinance passes. People would be banned from refilling their swimming pools, hosing down driveways and sidewalks. Residents and businesses would have to limit watering lawns and flowers to twice a week. Parks schools and golf courses would be limited to three times a week during the summer. If the ordinance passes it would take effect immediately. We will be here and covering this meeting and brin
