Reporter chief Ann Kirkpatrick has been in Law Enforcement for 35 years and its that deep experience as mayor libby schaaf calls it that got her the job. Federal money to help and in the meantime the clean up of the flood impacted neighborhoods here in san jose continues. Im so frustrated because im 70 years old and to face with that Flood Disaster is terrible. She showed us her empty flood damaged apartment. Last month her apartment was under water. Now more than two weeks later she is still practically homeless. I would like to have a safe place to live. Its so hard to look for a housing place right now because all occupied, no vacancy. This week representatives from the California Office of emergency services, fema, and the Small Business administration are touring the three san jose neighborhoods hardest hit by the flooding. The tour is part of san joses effort to help people like wynn recover. San jose is asking for funds to cover the estimated 18 million in damage to its public property.
