Woodland Joint Unified School District Trustee Deborah Bautista Zavala was honored with the Champion Estrella Award by the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Dec. 7.
Earlier this week, the Woodland Joint Unified School District held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the Spring Lake Elementary School playfields and commemorate the final milestone in the school’s construction.
