RAWALPINDI: The British Commissioner Dr Christian Turner called on Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa here in the city, the military s media wing said Thursday.
In its statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the two discussed matters of mutual interest and the overall regional security situation . The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan Army’s role in the Afghan peace process and maintaining peace and stability in the region, the ISPR added.

ISLAMABAD: Virgin Atlantic’s first flight to Pakistan landed at the New Islamabad International Airport on Friday.
“Virgin Atlantic’s inaugural flight lands in Islamabad,” wrote Advisor to PM on Overseas Pakistani Sayed Zulfiqar Bukhari on Twitter. “Great new step for our United Kingdom and European Union-based diaspora. Pakistan is more connected and open for travel and tourism today than it has been in decades.”
With him was British High Commission to Pakistan Christian Turner, who wrote “Bauhut Mubarak!” Twitter.

ISLAMABAD: Virgin Atlantic’s maiden flight to Pakistan landed at the New Islamabad International Airport on Friday.

Following the SAPM, British High Commission to Pakistan Christian Turner wrote “Bauhut Mubarak!”.
The inaugural flight took off from Manchester Airport on Thursday.
