The Lincoln softball team ended its 2022 season Sunday, losing both games of an MIAA doubleheader against the Northwest Missouri Bearcats at Battle High School. The Bearcats scored 10 runs in the final three innings to win 14-6 in Game 1. The Blue Tigers led 5-1 through four innings in Game 2, but Northwest Missouri rallied to win the nightcap 7-5.
The Lincoln softball team dropped both games against the Missouri Western Griffons on Saturday at Battle High School. The Griffons jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning in Game 1 after a single and hit by pitch led off the game and came around to score on an RBI double by Emma Hofart and an RBI single from Maddie Swanson.
