Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler (WA-03) announced [on Thursday] that she secured key federal funding in a committee-approved spending plan to support health related initiatives in Southwest Washington.
The FY22 Labor, Health and Human Services Appropriations bill included two Southwest Washington community funding priorities: funding to support renovations and upgrades to Battle Ground Healthcare which will expand critical health services, and funding for Camp Mariposa-Southwest Washington – a year round camping and mentoring experience for children impacted by the substance use disorder of a loved one.
