BELLEVUE TOWNSHIP, MI Tragedy struck a Michigan family twice on Friday when a mother and son were killed in a car collision just before a funeral for the woman s husband, authorities said.
Loralie Hunter, 71, and her son, 51-year-old Troy Bass, were killed when their vehicle was hit by a pickup truck just before 10 a.m. in Bellevue Township on Cronk Highway, near Battle Creek Highway, according to the Eaton County Sheriff s Office.
