BALANGA CITY, Bataan - The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has recognized an educational division officeand a local government unit in this province for their efforts to attain and promote excellent services and performances. Samal town was included in the Top 8 on government efficiency under the Class 3 and 4 municipalities' competitiveness index. Mayor Aida Macalinao received the award for Samal during the Central Luzon Regional Competitiveness Summit on Thursday. Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia, on the other hand, received the award for the Schools Division Office (SDO) from DTI Competitiveness Bureau Director Lilian Salonga during a short program at the Bataan Tourism Park here last Monday.
