DIMAPUR The Directorate of Economics and Statistics, government of Nagaland, in collaboration with the National Building Organisation (NBO) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, government of India, conducted a workshop-cum-training on housing and buildings construction statistics for the state of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland in its conference hall in Kohima on Thursday. In his keynote address, the secretary of Economics and Statistics, Mohammed Ali Shihab, has requested all the delegates to take maximum advantage of programme. As India will celebrate its 100 years of Independence in the year 2047 and is planning to declare as developed country, he stated that rapid migration of citizens from rural to urban areas pose a challenge to achieve the vision and needed effective and efficient policies.
