The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the House of Representatives investigating the alleged mismanagement of the COVID-19 funds from 2020 to 2021 by the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of the Nigerian government has uncovered more infractions in the presentations submitted before it by some health institutions.
The House of Representatives Public Accounts Committee probing alleged misappropriation of COVID-19 intervention funds by Ministries Departments and Agencies has uncovered several irregularities in the presentations made by some health institutions across the country.
The Committee chaired by Bamidele Salam said the Infractions were so grievous that could earn accounting officers of concerned institutions jail or outright sack.
