BY ADAM ATKINSON North Country This Week WADDINGTON The Bassmaster Elite Series returns to Waddington on July 15-18, with world class bass anglers vying for top spot honors on the St. Lawrence River, culminating in the crowning of the 2021 Bassmaster Angler of the Year.

Gustafson s tournament total is 13 fishing weighing 29 pounds, 9 ounces. Day 1 - 3 fish weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces. Day 2 - 5 fish weighing 13 pounds, 8 ounces. Day 3 - 5 fish weighing 9 pounds, 9 ounces. The top 10 anglers will compete for the championship on Monday. Takeoff will be held at 5:40 a.m. CDT, with weigh-ins beginning at 2 p.m. The next stop on the Elite circuit is the 2021 Berkley Bassmaster Elite at Lake Gunterville, which takes place from May 20 - 23.
