A committee is working on a long-range plan for the Frank J. Basloe Library in Herkimer and members are looking for input.
A 10-question survey to help with the development of a five-year plan is available at the library and on the library’s website, according to Christine Fleischer, library director.
Most of the questions are multiple choice asking about how often the respondent uses the library, what materials and services they use and how they find out about library activities.
They also asked to rate the library’s collection, services, program and accessibility on a scale of 1 to 5 and answer yes or no questions regarding the recent library renovations, its role in the community, library hours and the helpfulness of the library staff.
