The Canadian summary of the phone call, provided by the Prime Minister’s Office, describes it as a conversation “about India’s significant efforts in promoting vaccine production and supply.”
The official statement from India’s foreign ministry says Trudeau “informed Prime Minister Modi about Canada’s requirements of COVID-19 vaccines from India.”

GP SURGERIES across north and mid Hampshire are now beginning to call the next group of patients for their Covid vaccinations. The vaccination team in the region, which is being run by the North Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group, have started to call patients between the ages of 65 and 69 - which are in the fifth cohort. The news was announced by Watership Down Health, which operates surgeries in Kingsclere, Overton and Oakley, but with the primary care networks across the region working in sync, this is now believed to be happening across the region.

People over the age of 70 who have not yet been offered a Covid jab are being encouraged to contact the NHS to arrange an appointment. The health service in England has changed its messaging from “we will contact you” to “contact us” for those over the age of 70. It comes as the Government is just days away from saying whether or not it has met its target for offering all people in the top four priority groups the Covid jab before the middle of February. The priority list, set out by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, currently has nine groups in it.
