THE Department of Education (DepEd) has launched the School Building Program Monitoring System, with a pilot rollout implemented in Cebu City. The monitoring system rollout, spearheaded by the School Infrastructure and Facilities strand, aims to address pressing school-building-related issues and emphasizes the importance of open communication and sharing plans, timelines and objectives with different organizations.
To address gaps in basic education facilities nationwide, the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) renewed their partnership in strengthening the School Building Program (SBP).
