proven to be actually innocent? why would he want to execute, end the lives of young people proven in this case to be innocent? actually innocent why would he want to do that? you know, chris, i think there s a little thing we talk about a lot and it s already been mentioned on the show. it s one thing to have a base of support. it s something else to have base supporters. those are totally two different things. i beg to differ with those who say that this president is doing things to appeal to his base of support. no, he s doing things to appeal to his base voters. those people who are ignoble in their pursuit of stuff. and i would ask any of your listeners to look it up and you see a base voter is totally different from a base of voters. and that is what s going on
daca, that s going to be one of the most important issues as congress tries to continue to fund the government. we only have three weeks until government funding expires, president trump is demanding funding for his wall and also some reforms to immigration policy as it is. democrats clearly want a permanent fix. this is so important because this is the issue that brought republican base voters out to the polls. while, yes, they were able to get gorsuch to the supreme court ant tax reform to the finish line, they don t want to do anything to diminish those achievements because they don t want to give that base voter any reason not to show up to the polls in november. so i think these are definitely going to flavor the coming midterm. immigration is going to be the biggest food fight here don t you think? . president wants wall funding. the democrat the want the daca. will the democrats really agree
