Pabst mansion in Glencoe rehabbbed, for sale

Matt Mansueto Photography The married pair of real estate developers who bought the grand Pabst mansion in Glencoe in 2017 have just completed an extensive rehab of the house and are putting it on the market at $18 million. The house, built for the head of Milwaukee’s Pabst brewing company, is set well back from Sheridan Road behind stone gates on 2.4 acres. The entire 20,000-square-foot interior is new, while the historical limestone shell, designed by a Chicago architect who would go on to build some of the most notable modern buildings in all three of California’s largest cities, has been cleaned up and in some places replaced.
