ASTANA. KAZINFORM Astana Opera – the flagship of culture and art of Kazakhstan – completed its 10th anniversary season with a symphony concert featuring world stars. The season was exciting, busy and marked by a string of significant international events.

KAZINFORM The first summer month was marked by a significant cultural event: the famous Operaliya International Music Festival will be held at the Astana Opera with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It will open on June 20 at the opera house’s Grand Hall.
ASTANA. KAZINFORM The final chord of training at the Astana Opera International Opera Academy will be the participation of its soloists in the premiere of Rossini’s opera L’Italiana in Algeri, as well as Puccini’s La Bohème. While the young vocalists are preparing for the performances, we asked three of them to share their impressions of their studies and talk about the goals they set for themselves after graduating from the academy, the press service of Astana Opera reported.
ASTANA. KAZINFORM The soloists of the Astana Opera International Opera Academy presented with great success a concert performance of Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s opera Iolanta. The story about the healing power of love did not leave the viewers indifferent. They grieved and rejoiced along with the heroes of the magical story to the brilliant music presented with all the subtle nuances by the music director and conductor of the performance Ruslan Baimurzin, masterfully brought to life by the opera house’s symphony orchestra and choir, Kazinform learned from the Astana Opera press service.
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Astana Opera will celebrate two major events for the world musical community: the 150th anniversary of the great composer, pianist and conductor Sergei Rachmaninoff and the 85th anniversary of one of the most titled opera singers of the 20th century, Yevgeny Nesterenko.
