UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) â The process of selecting a new Superintendent in the Union City Community School District has gotten underway as Ronna Steel will be retiring at the end of the school year.
Her retirement request was accepted by the Union City School District Board of Education during a special meeting last Friday. She served as the Union City Superintendent for two years and said in her retirement letter that her time with the district was a blessing.
She also said her husband has taken a new job where they have a home in Georgia and her retirement will allow her to spend time helping her father transition to living with them.
