STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) â A missing elder was found about 4 hours from his home in Central Wisconsin Wednesday night.
A Silver Alert was issued for 93-year-old Roberto Sobalvarro at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 5th. The Silver Alert was then canceled just over an hour later at 11:10 p.m. when Sobalvarro was found in Stevens Point.
Sobalvarro lives in Big Lake Minnesota and was last seen in Barron Wisconsin when he went missing on Wednesday night. Sobalvarro has dementia and did not have a cell phone, prompting the release of the Silver Alert that evening.
No other details have been released about Sobalvarro and being located in Stevens Point. The Big Lake Police Department does thank the public for their help in locating Sobalvarro.

according to the local sheriff, officials think she s still alive but in danger. our matt finn live in barron wisconsin live with more. the fbi said they added jayme closs to the top of the most wanted persons list because it s in critical need of more pep from the public. the 400-plus tips have not led to anything credible, this is the closs home where police say james and denise closs were shot to death. their 13-year-old daughter, jayme, likely witnessed her parents being murdered and now she s vanished. this afternoon, the barron sheriff sent out an alert asking for anyone that spent time with this murdered wisconsin couple to please come forward with any information. we talked to family members that say this is obviously a nightmare and they re not aware of anyone that would want to murder the closses. we talked to some numbers about this mysterious double murder.
