January 11, 2021 - 11:33 AM Barriere Secondary School has issued a warning that a member of the school community has tested positive for COVID-19. According to the press release, that person is under self-isolation, and Interior Health is contact tracing to alert parents and guardians of any students at risk to also self-isolate. The Interior Health website displays exposure dates at Barriere Secondary School as Jan. 4, 5 and 8, the first week of school after the winter holiday break. The warning will remain on the Interior Health website for 14 days until the risk of infection is clear, and Interior Health reminds those who are experiencing symptoms to self-isolate.
