Ashley A. McLean, 25, has been convicted in Kingston’s Ontario Court of Justice of violating probation imposed in June 2019 by neglecting to report to her probation officer in January 2020, thefts that same month over a period of six days from three separate stores across the city, and a related violation of probation by failing to keep the peace.
She was also convicted on five subsequent violations of release conditions twice in September 2020 by failing to confine herself to her residence except when accompanied by her bail surety, again in November and December by neglecting her weekly obligation to report by phone to Kingston Police, and in January 2021 by again disregarding her home confinement condition and her weekly reporting to police.
