More than two dozen people boarded a bus in Barrie on Tuesday morning to join countless others at Queen s Park to call on the Ford government to ends its review of provincially-funded consumption treatment sites (CTS).
Two bylaws expected to be voted on at Barrie council Wednesday evening would make it illegal to give food or supplies in a park or on other city property to those experiencing homelessness. Advocates have been camping out outside Barrie city hall in protest.
