The Commodores traveled to Conway, South Carolina on April 12 to take on Coastal Carolina. The Chanticleers served as Vanderbilt’s first non-conference opponent in their last four games. Despite a strong first half performance, Vanderbilt lost to Coastal Carolina by a score of 17-13. Seconds after the opening whistle blew, senior midfielder Paige Finneran struck.
Around 1,000 Vanderbilt students marched to the Capitol, and some spoke alongside Vice President Kamala Harris in a last-minute visit after the Tennessee Statehouse expelled two lawmakers that stood with protestors.
