COVID-19 cases grow by 9 in Thunder Bay District
All nine of the latest cases detected are in people under 40.

THUNDER BAY – The COVID-19 case count continues to grow.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit on Thursday announced nine new cases, bringing the region’s total to 409 since March.
The exposure category in seven of the cases is listed as close contacts with other cases. One is travel-related and the other is no known exposures.
Five of the cases are in people younger than 20, four females and one male.
St. Martin Elementary School on Wednesday announced three more people associated with the school had been sent home, leading to three full cohorts being sent home.
