Company ) is pleased to report the start of drilling at the Ryuo Mine prospect located within the Ikutahara Project in the Kitami Region of northeast Hokkaido, Japan. The Ikutahara Project is 100% held by Japan Gold and is not included in the Barrick Alliance.
Highlights:
An initial 3 drill holes will test targets below or adjacent to historical workings which have coincident CSAMT resistivity anomalies and gravity defined structures.
5 areas of workings were developed along a 1 km long, open ended zone of alteration and mineralization prior to the government-imposed closure in 1943.

Japan Gold Barrick Alliance continues to make progress with projects in Japan
Japan Gold (CVE: JG- OTCQB: JDLDF) CEO John Proust joined Steve Darling to provide an update on the work being done under the Barrick Alliance between Japan Gold and Barrick in Japan including some recent good results from the Togi Project.
Proust telling Proactive the company has staked new claims with the alliance now covering 29 projects and 1882 square kilometres. Proust also shared with Proactive the work being done with a budget of 4 million dollars, including a big focus on the gold fertile Hokusatsu Region of the Southern Kyushu Epithermal Gold Province.

On the 26
th of January, the Company announced acceptance by Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry ( METI ) of 18 new prospecting rights applications (collectively 4,895.5 hectares) covering prospective western extensions of the Mizobe and Onoyama-Yamagano Projects in Southern Kyushu.
On the 9
th of February, the Company announced acceptance by METI of 35 prospecting rights applications (9,571.7 hectare) adjoining the western boundary of the Sanru Project - north Hokkaido. The new applications cover prospective extensions north and south of the Sanru Mine which produced 225,000 oz at an average grade of 6.4 g/t Au.
