Barrett's Alehouse in West Bridgewater caused some buzz promoting its 'Jersey Shore Brunch' event in March – but will the cast of the MTV show be in attendance?
Fall River Game Room to Host Sensory-Sensitive Event in April
Barrett s Alehouse in Fall River is celebrating those who are sensitive to lights and sounds with an event that modifies both.
The very first “Sensory Night” will take place on Tuesday, April 20, and is actually an all-day affair. Starting at 11 am, Barrett’s will be able to accommodate anyone who may feel overwhelmed during regular business hours.
We reached out to Bobbi Lu Holmgren, the General Manager at Barrett’s Alehouse for more information.
“We have seen a lot of posts online about kids and adults with sensory issues not having anywhere to go during the pandemic,” said Holmgren. “So, we partnered with our gaming companies in order to give them a chance to have fun without worrying about excessive lights and sounds.”

Thanks to the emergence of dating apps like Bumble and Tinder, all it takes is a quick DM to spark a connection and the chance at a romantic evening. However, it has also ushered in the potential for dangerous situations.
