Frank O’Donnell believes the fact more than 400 people have signed a petition against Patersons of Greenoakhill’s proposals shows the strength of feeling in the community. The firm is bidding to extend the height of waste at the site on the outskirts of Glasgow from 48 metres to 64m. A planning application is due to be considered in early 2021 by council chiefs.
