Ugh! I hate reporting things like this. Unfortunately, Big Barlow's BBQ & Catering will be closing its doors after serving customers for two and half years. The restaurant is located at 34 South Main St. in Barnegat and they plan on closing once they run out of food this week.
2020: The year of disgrace for these Lincolnshire councillors
Councillors on the naughty list
Several elected councillors across Lincolnshire have found themselves on the naughty list in 2020.
Local authority members have a duty to behave themselves while in office, and if they breach the rules, then it is right they should be investigated.
Sometimes this leads to a suspension, others purely an apology. Here are some of this year’s notable blunders.

Investigations are understood to still be ongoing in relation to the former leader of West Lindsey District Council.
District deputy leader forced to apologise over planning slur
Councillor in the naughty corner
Councillor Paul Howitt-Cowan.
The deputy leader of West Lindsey District Council who told residents to spy on a house builder because he “might try to be naughty” has been told to apologise and had access to council officers restricted.
Conservative Councillor Paul Howitt-Cowan was investigated by senior officers and an independent person after he told Hemswell Parish Council that he feared Alan Morris might illegally demolish a former blacksmiths forge in the area as part of plans to build a new one-and-a-half storey home.
Mr Morris said he had been labelled a “serial criminal” after Councillor Howitt-Cowan said he had a “history of doing this in other parts of the country”.
Councillor David Brown (centre) stepped down from his cabinet role earlier today, but Councillors Neill John Hastie (left) and Peter Watson (right) say that did not go far enough.
Opposition councillors at Boston Borough Council say the resignation of a cabinet member after he was driving while attending a virtual meeting “does not go far enough”.
Bostonian Independent councillors Neill John Hastie and Peter Watson both believe Conservative Councillor David Brown should “bow out of the council altogether” after his actions were broadcast on a YouTube livestream of the authority’s cabinet.
Friday morning Councillor Brown stepped down as portfolio holder for culture and tourism and said he would cooperate fully with any investigation and that “with hindsight, I shouldn’t have joined the meeting whilst driving”.
Councillor driving during online meeting still under investigation
Councillor Brown checks the video feed several times while his vehicle appears to still be moving.
A Boston councillor caught driving while attending a virtual meeting has not been arrested, charged or summonsed to court more than two weeks later.
The meeting was live-streamed and the video in full later appeared on the council’s YouTube channel.
In the footage, the vehicle Councillor Brown is sat in is clearly moving.
Councillor Brown has his hands on the wheel, however, on several occasions he fiddles with the device he is using to attend the meeting, moving it closer to his face and readjusting its position.
