Lynchburg dealers buy out Barkhouser Ford of Danville

As of JuneÂ 3, Apple Ford has madeÂ aÂ home in Danville. New ownersÂ Darryl andÂ NancyÂ Huften, who will continue toÂ maintainÂ their ownership of Apple Ford in Lynchburg, plan toÂ retainÂ the original DanvilleÂ sales and serviceÂ team and expand their marketÂ to the southern VirginiaÂ region.Â Â Darryl Huften will serve as the Danville dealer, while his wife, Nancy, will be the Lynchburg dealer. The Huftens said, âWe are thrilled to lay roots in Danville and continue the family-owned legacy established by the Barkhouser family. While the name is changing to Apple Ford, the familiar faces that made this business what it was for decades will remain.âÂ
