Carpet planks from Signature Floors were successfully used by the designers to introduce zoning in the flexible workspace designed for the OpenText office in Sydney.
Modern workplace design uses flooring as an effective tool to create activity zones in open plan schemes. Designed by Hot Black, the 1,800sqm OpenText office in North Sydney is spread across two floors and features zoning in its design. The designers used a combination of Signature’s Botanica and Moss carpet planks to differentiate collaboration areas from the other spaces.
The carpet planks’ organic and textured designs create a unified flow, while the vibrant colours help with clearly defining spaces. Within the open plan work area, these carpet tiles contribute to creating a quiet collaboration space with sheer curtains adding a layer of privacy.
