The Atascadero Lakeside Wine Fest is a celebration of the region's top wineries and breweries. Organizers said the event saw more than 1300 attendees this year.
– Volunteers are still needed for the Atascadero Lakeside Wine Festival which occurs on Saturday, June 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Atascadero Lake Park and Charles Paddock Zoo.
– Although Empty Bowls has not returned to a sit-down event, several hundred people dropped by Atascadero Bible Church Thursday to get soup and an empty ceramic bowl thrown by a local artist. The annual event is a major fundraiser for the El Camino Homeless Organization.
– Early Bird tickets to the 25th Atascadero Lakeside Wine Festival are now available. Tickets cost $60 until April 30. The festival will be held on Saturday, June 25, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Atascadero Lake Park and Charles Paddock Zoo.
