If you look at the rest of the world, every industrialized democracy has a universal Healthcare System that covers everyone much cheaply much more cheaply, but the british system of the socialized system. You have systems were people get highly regulated by private insurance. There are hybrid systems and supplemental insurance on top of it. When we say we like singlepayer, we have to be clear about what it is were talking about. The more socialized the system you are looking at, the more difficult it is the transition from where we are now to what thats going to be. I think thats going to be something that is an important debate democrats will be having over the next three years.
