One suggested Eleanor Francis and i wasnt sure and tell i googled name Eleanor Francis helene and i was just done by the picture i had no idea that women worked at that time so i found out Eleanor Francis was not alone that jet propulsion is laboratory there were no computers so that a time a computer men to a person that computes. Baby and we were just having a really difficult time coming up with names, finally my husband suggested Eleanor Francis, i googled the name and what popped up was a woman named Eleanor Francis and there was a beautiful picture of her black and white taken at nasa in the 1960s accepting an award. I was stun by the picture because i had no idea that women worked in nasa at that time much less a scientist. So i really wanted to learn more about i found out that actually Eleanor Francis was not alone and they were known as computers so at the time before the digital devices a computer simply meant a person who computes.
