Rcat fixed routes won t run Monday

Rcat Fixed Route buses will not operate on Monday due to riders being exposed to dangerously cold bad weather conditions, Barbara Lilyhorn, Reno County public transportation director, advised on Friday.
Wind chills are forecast to get at low as minus-23 on Monday morning, with blowing and drifting snow.
Paratransit vans will operate on a normal schedule

Reno County Public Transportation director Barbara Lilyhorn announced that effective 7 a.m. Monday, Rcat will return to regular hours and routes.
Fixed routes and paratransit will operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Rcat will operate four fixed routes on the following schedule: 1 North hourly, 1 South hourly, 2 East will operate at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.,5 p.m., 2 Northwest will operate at 8 am., 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m. 4 p.m. Route 3 will operate hourly.
Rural On-Demand will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
