A Fulton County couple is facing new charges after a five-year child abuse investigation.
Eugene and Barbara Erb were charged three years ago with endangering the welfare of a child, accused of waiting for more than a week to get help for a 13-year-old girl in their care after she was seriously burned. She ended up in the hospital for more than a month, getting surgeries and skin grafts.
The Erbs pleaded guilty to those charges.
Now that girl, and another who was also in the Erb s care, have separated themselves from the couple, telling police the Erbs threatened to harm them three years ago if they didn t lie to police, doctors, and social workers.
