DAVAO CITY – At least 106 families evacuated from their homes after the Davao and Talomo rivers reached critical level due to flooding in some parts in Davao City on Friday night.

The Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) advised all Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committees to conduct pre-emptive evacuation in communities living near the river channels and low-lying areas as the water level in the tributaries of the Davao River swelled due to localized thunderstorms.
