(Is anyone getting off in Balintawak?) The same question was being asked from passengers by drivers of public utility jeepneys (PUJs) plying the Novaliches-Blumentritt (Manila) route through Quirino Highway-Balintawak-A. Bonifacio Avenue and vice versa. Conductors of buses from Sapang Palay, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan to Sta. Cruz, Manila also did the same. The local government on Friday said the number of areas under special concern lockdown (SCL) already rose to 17, from 12 three days ago.
These new areas are:
Christ the King Mission Seminary, No. 101 E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. in Barangay Kristong Hari (starting March 12)
No. 77 to Block 2 Lot 7 Orchids St., Freedom Park 3 in Barangay Batasan Hills (starting March 11)
No. 26 Mabituan St., Barangay Masambong (starting March 11)
The other areas under SCL are:
De Los Santos Compound, Heavenly Drive, Barangay San Agustin (starting March 1)
No. 46 and 50 K-9th Street, Barangay West Kamias (started March 3)
49 & 51 E Rodriguez Sr. Ave., Barangay Doña Josefa (started March 4)
