LEGAZPI CITY - Operatives arrested an alleged pusher and seized PHP3.4 million worth of suspected shabu following a buy-bust in Barangay Penafrancia, Naga City on Tuesday. In a statement on Thursday, Maj. Malu Calubaquib, Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) spokesperson, identified the suspect as Eymard Rey Batan alias "Bong", 43, resident of the said barangay. "Said person was caught red-handed selling two pieces of a knot-tied transparent plastic bag containing the white crystalline substance of suspected shabu both weighing more or less 500 grams," Calubaquib said. Police said the seized drug is estimated to be worth PHP 3.4 million. The suspect also yielded a piece of rolled aluminum foil with traces of a white crystalline substance.
