DPWH Regional Office 11 Director Rey Peter B. Gille, citing a report from DPWH Davao Oriental 2nd District Engineering Office, said the project is a concrete road that facilitates better access to the farmlands as well as to the markets. "In the amount of PHP12.9 million, we have constructed a two-lane paved road stretching 749 meters for the benefit of our coconut and banana farmers in the area who have long endured the difficulty of having their products reach the market due to poor condition of roads," Gille said in a statement on Sunday.
