ZAMBOANGA CITY - Two persons were arrested while some PHP1.7 million worth of suspected shabu were seized in an anti-drug operation here, a top police official said Tuesday. Col. Rexmel Reyes, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) director, identified the suspects as Jerson Saksihan, 34; and Romnick Verina, 31. Reyes said the two suspects were arrested in an anti-drug operation around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Barangay Calarian. Reyes said seized from the suspects were some 250 grams of suspected shabu packed in five heat-sealed plastic sachets worth PHP1.7 million, identification cards, a four-wheel vehicle, a bundle of boodle, and marked money. He said Saksihan told authorities that the shabu allegedly came from Jolo, Sulu.
